Personalised Exercise Classes
Jack Aitken Osteopathy offers small and personalised exercise classes to help you build strength, improve movement and get the best out of your body.
In our Hamilton clinic, you’ll be guided through an exercise program created just for you and your needs. We keep our sessions simple, targeted and low impact, using Pilates-based exercises as well as balance trainers and exercise balls. Classes run for up to 45 minutes, depending on your fitness level.
Shared experience, but individual attention
Up to two other people will be exercising in the class with you, each carrying out different exercises as part of their own personalised exercise program.
We make every effort to match people of similar exercise levels. Otherwise, you may choose to book with a friend, so you can exercise together for added motivation!

For treatment and rehabilitation
When used as part of your osteopathic treatment, our personalised classes may assist with your rehabilitation from injury, surgery or other conditions. Ease your way back to your best, with careful and controlled exercise.

For maintaining strength and movement
Age, chronic illness or disability can make daily tasks more challenging. When prescribed by our osteopath, our personalised exercise classes may help you maintain strength, movement and quality of life.

For general fitness and wellness
Not all osteopathic care relates to major injury or disability. Get the most out of your body with an exercise program targeted at improving balance, posture or other issues that impact everyday life.
Class + Assessment Fees
$72 for a 30-minute assessment with our osteopath
$35 for each class (up to 45 minutes)
How our classes work
Step 1: Exercise assessment
Attend a one-on-one exercise assessment before starting your classes (call us to book). Our osteopath will ask you questions and ask you to try some exercises, to plan your exercise program. You’ll book into a class.
Step 2: Attend your first class
You’ll already be familiar with the equipment and some of your exercises when you arrive, so our osteopath can help you get you started straight away. He’ll be on hand to assist and guide you throughout your class.
Step 3: Join us regularly
Once you get started, you can book in to attend a weekly or fortnightly class. Our osteopath will monitor your progress, and adjust your exercises so you continue to improve.
